The ESL Office

The long-lasting search for ESL’s own office gave results at the end of 2013 when a five-year rental agreement was signed with the Institute of History of the Tallinn University. Suitable rooms were found at the address 4 Rüütli St., on the ground floor of the Institute’s building in the Old Town. The office area is 52 m2 and includes a meeting room with a library, an office for ESL staff, a kitchen corner and a small storeroom. The terrace in the inner yard can be used additionally. The ESL has been carrying out its daily work there since 14 March 2014.

The office initially required a general overhaul that was managed and planned by Tiiu Truus and Toomas Korb, who also chose the furnishings. Many other members and partners of the ESL made their valuable contributions in the completion and furnishing of the office.
